FileTaco is a set of free tools for preparing files for the web, from images and fonts to SVGs and favicons. Every tool runs in your browser, so the files you add never leave your device.
Who runs FileTaco
I’m Chris Erbstoesser, a web developer in Southern California. Building websites means doing the same small file jobs over and over: exporting an image at five widths and three formats, trimming a font down to the characters a site actually uses, cleaning the clutter out of an SVG from a design tool. Most online tools for these jobs ask you to upload your files to someone else’s server first.
So I built free tools that do the work right in your browser, for anyone working on a website: developers, designers, and people keeping their own business or personal site running. There’s no account to create and nothing to install.
You can see more of my work at chriserbstoesser.com.
How the site is funded
FileTaco is free to use and supported by advertising. Ads are kept outside the tools and never see your files.
